General Ultrasound / Daily (30m)
Preparation-
Abdomen - nothing to eat or drink for 7/ 8 hours ( if thirsty, can have small amount of water only ).
Pelvis ( both male & female ) / Early pregnancy - drink a liter of water about an hour before the test. Do not void till the test is done.
Abdomen & Pelvis - nothing to eat for 7/ 8 hours, drink a liter of water only about an hour before and do not void till the test is done.
Transrectal prostate - light diet previous night and take two dulcolax tablets at bed time. Completely clear the bowel next day and come in full bladder ( drink a liter of water about an hour before the test and do not void till the test is done ).
Duplex renal artery and abdominal aorta doppler - fasting for 8 to 10 hours.
Other tests - no preparation necessary.
MUST WRITE IN THE INVESTIGATION BOX THE TYPE OF ULTRASOUND AS MENTIONED IN THE REQUISITION

PLEASE COME 10 MINUTES BEFORE YOUR TIME OF APPOINTMENT TO COVER THE TIME OF CHECKING IN.

Next Step

X-RAY (10m)
All routine x-rays are performed.

Fluoroscopic and barium studies are not done.
NO APPOINTMENT IS REQUIRED. YOU CAN WALK IN.
MUST BRING DOCTOR'S REQUISITION AND YOUR HEALTH CARD.
MONDAY TO FRIDAY 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, SATURDAY 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.
NO X-RAY ON SUNDAY
