Pathmaker - Level II (College/Adult) (15m)
Palomar Health’s Pathmaker Internship presents pre-health students with unparalleled learning opportunities in a clinical setting. Pathmaker interns provide direct, patient-centric care and clinical support services for staff across our healthcare district. Working under the direction of the appropriate staff, interns assist in the provision of a safe, comfortable and confidential environment. Every three months, our interns have the opportunity to work in one of our 35+ currently available hospital departments. This program is ideal for students and adults interested in an intensive pre-health internship that will provide the experience necessary to make an informed decision about a career in healthcare.

Applicants must meet the requirements listed in the Program Requirements Packet (available on the Apply page) to be eligible to apply to the Level II program.
The appointment time you select designates the time you must arrive for your interview. The interview process is approximately 45 minutes in duration beginning promptly at the start of your scheduled appointment time (e.g. if you select 4:45pm-5:00pm, you must arrive no later than 4:45pm).

It is mandatory for applicants to meet the requirements listed in the Program Requirements Packet. Applicants must also turn in a completed Level II Internship Application Form (typed; handwritten applications will not be accepted) during their scheduled interview. These resources are both available on the Apply page.

Once you schedule an appointment, any cancellations or re-scheduling must be made no later than 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment time. Cancellation instructions will be provided in an appointment confirmation email once you have scheduled an interview.

Applicants who miss their scheduled interview appointment without cancelling ahead of time will be marked as a "No Show". "No Show" records will negatively impact one's candidacy for this program in the future. To make changes to your appointment, please follow the instructions provided in your appointment confirmation email.

If there are no available interview times, please E-mail [email protected] to receive information about our Alternate List.
